It's been a steady start to the season since March, I haven't raced as much as normal by this time of year, it's been a bit of a rollercoaster with illness and injury, and struggling to get a consistent block of training in.

I had a nasty crash out in Spain during a weekend of racing, lost alot of skin which took a couple of weeks to heal properly and kept me off the bike, frustrating as I'd recently got over another forced break due to the flu.

A trip to Belgium guest riding for Bäckstedt jrt over easter and another weekend in Spain followed, it was a busy couple of weeks but all milage in the legs.

The races I have done have been on the back foot just having to dive in and hope for the best to try and boost my fitness, but over the last week or so I'm starting to get into my stride and the legs are getting there but still work to do, plenty of the season to go yet so I'm feeling positive and hopefully the results will start coming.
